The Rundown: Startups like Navier and Candela are creating electric hydrofoiling boats that lift out of the water to increase speed and range, aiming to be the Teslas of the boating industry.
The details:
Underwater foils (similar to wings) lift the hull above the surface, reducing water resistance for better battery efficiency.
The foils allow the electric boats to cruise at 20+ mph with just 40 cents per nautical mile in operating costs.

The Rundown: Norwegian firm AutoStore unveiled an upgraded robot for its automated retail fulfillment systems — featuring an improved battery that can last longer and charge less frequently.
The details:
The R5 Pro is a cube-shaped bot, able to efficiently navigate the grid-like structure of the AutoStore warehouses to retrieve and store items.
Over 45,000 of the robots already operate in 1,200+ sites for brands like IKEA, DHL, and Gucci.
The tech expands storage capacity and productivity in retailers' distribution centers, enabling smaller, more efficient warehouse footprints.
